This double ended instrument has a blunt olive tip with a 0.9mm inferior wedge on one end and a paddle-shaped distal tip designed to chop a dense nucleus and protect the posterior capsule on the other end. The olive-tipped end is ideal for horizontal chopping and the paddle-shaped end is designed for the "quick chop" vertical chopping technique. It is made from stainless steel to give superior durability.
